Dayenny De Souza
SENIOR DESIGNER & DOCUMETER
Dayenny has over 14 years of experience in architecture and project management across Australia, New Zealand and Brazil. Her career started on site before finishing her architecture studies and has given her the foundation to design projects focusing on buildability and efficiency.
Dayenny has been involved in a wide range of projects including health, multi-residential, commercial, aged care, residential and data centres. She focuses her designs on efficiency and enjoys working with technology to help achieve the best result for her clients. Dayenny specialises in sustainable design, she is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Newcastle. Her research explores different materiality and design with First Nations knowledge.
Dayenny was born in Rio de Janeiro and made Australia home after travelling here to study English as an exchange student. The similar weather and beach life made her fell at home very quickly. She travels back to Brazil once a year to see family.
